Do you love the idea of decorating for fall, but do not have much time? Then this is the project for you!
This lovely DIY fall banner took me about 10 minutes to make. It's quick and easy! This post contains affiliate links. Click here for my full disclosure policy.
Supplies Needed for DIY Fall Banner:
- 1 artificial berry branch. I found mine at Joann Fabrics on sale for around $6.00.
- 1/4 inch ribbon
- 12 x 12 sheet of card stock {I always keep Match Makers Textured Brights Cardstock Stack 12″X12″
on hand because I can always find a color that works for whatever project I am tackling}.
- Silhouette CAMEO or Portrait {you can use scissors if you do not have a cutting machine, or you can treat yourself to a Silhouette of your very own with the fantastic deal at the end of this post!}
- Scissors {I got my gorgeous gold scissors from Target!}
- Craft Glue Gun
Steps to Make DIY Fall Banner:
1) Cut our your F A L L letters. I used my Silhouette CAMEO for the job, so it took about 10 seconds. {I am beyond in love with my Silhouette CAMEO–I almost took it with me on my recent vacation, but restrained myself}. I simply chose a font and size that would give me the look I was going for and adjusted my cut settings to make them suitable for card stock. And voila!
2) Cut 4 pieces of ribbon in equal lengths. Loop each length of ribbon around your branch and secure it with a dab of hot glue.
4) Next, attach your letters to the loose end of the ribbon using your glue gun.
5) Now hang your beautiful banner up and RELAX! How is that for an easy fall decor project?!
