A lot of “kid's” stores out there are just a little too cutesy for my taste, if you know what I mean. That is why I love Land of Nod so much. It's full of more modern decor that is loved by parents and kids! I recently fell in love with this customizable art work from Land of Nod.

Isn't that cute?! But it's pretty pricey at $189. So, I decided to use the Land of Nod print as inspiration for my own DIY version. Yep, you can make your own geometric DIY monogram art easily at home FOR FREE! Watch the video below for step-by-step instructions.

That's it! Print it off and pop it in a frame {I already had a frame, but you can snap one up on Amazon for around $11, like this one}. How easy is that? Here is the finished result. Isn't it cute?! And I saved $189 making it myself :)

  1. Amazingly cute project! I am in the middle of a basement reno and was searching for diy wall art projects for the kids zone. I love this and can’t wait to get started! I am curious though, for my daughter her name starts with E so easy to do but my son’s name starts with S and I am at a loss as to how to create this letter. Any advice would be great! thanks for your post, love your site!!

    1. Honestly, you just have to draw it out and use your imagination! Google geometric ‘E’ for good ideas. Good luck!

  2. I’m looking to do something with a solid white, front door that faces inside the livingroom that is painted taupe. Maybe stencil or distress? Any ideas?

  3. Oh my goodness, so cute! I love the way yours turned out! It was such a great idea to include a video! I am so glad to participate in this series with everyone – I’m always blown away by how creative and talented the results are!
