For quite a while now, I have been seeing the most adorable “printables.” If you are not familiar with the term, I can tell you that they are basically fun graphics or words that you print out and pop in a frame. Easy, peasy. They are all over Etsy and Pinterest. I even PAID for some printables for Etsy for my family room {PS- The family room reveal will be coming at the beginning of the year and it will blow your socks off. That's not bragging, because it's true!}.
One night a few months ago I decided I need to learn how to make printables myself. As it turns out, it is not that difficult! I am not going to provide a tutorial here, because there are so many good tutorials out there,. The tutorial I followed is this one by The SITS Girls: How to Make a Printable On PicMonkey.
One night after work, I followed the tutorial and made this ADORABLE printable for my laundry room {if you have not seen my laundry room, click HERE to check it out}.
I have nearly 3-year-old twin girls so my husband and I do A LOT of laundry. It is not always NEVER fun to do laundry. But this quote {which I saw so many different places I do not know who to attribute it to} made me realize that the days of having precious little children in the house are limited. Totally made me tear up! I still do not find laundry fun, but this printable will remind me that loads of laundry is a small price to pay for the feeling of tiny arms hugging my neck every day!
I finally bought a frame for it and cannot wait to put it in the frame and place it in the room tonight! If you want more ideas for thrifty laundry room art, click HERE and HERE.

Hi! What color is the chevron in real life? It looks teal in one light, and then hunter green in another. I’d just like to know before I get it printed off. Thanks!
Hi Kristen. It’s an emerald green. Hope that helps!
