Hello lovely readers! Did you have a fabulous weekend? We did! Our pool is open and it was nice and HOT out. Now that it feels like summer has officially arrived, it is time to start making some cold, nutritious treats for our girls. This easy orange creamsicle recipe is our new favorite. Our girls LOVE them and I LOVE that it is a delicious and healthy snack for them to enjoy when it it hot outside. They couldn't possibly be any easier to make. This post contains affiliate links. You need a total of 3 ingredients and some popsicle molds. I purchased mine at Ikea, but there are LOADS of great options on Amazon that you can check out here.
I used my Young Living Essential Oils in this recipe because such a tiny amount provides SUCH HUGE flavor. I love using my Young Living Essential Oils in desserts because they are therapeutic grade and they just add the perfect amount of flavor. Who doesn’t love fresh orange flavor for summer?
Since my family loves our oils so much I decided that it wouldn’t be fair to talk about them without offering my readers an opportunity to enjoy the oils as well. So, I am running a fabulous promotion to get you started. The starter kit that I am offering this month also comes with a ton of educational material so that you know how to get the most out of your oils. Find out more here.
Not all essential oils are edible. Due to lack of purity, 98% of essential oils sold should NOT be ingested. An edible essential oil will be labeled “therapeutic-grade” and have a “Supplement Facts” box on the label showing the nutritional value – do NOT use just any brand of essential oil for cooking/flavoring foods. Be sure to use pure oils from reliable sources, not synthetic scents or flavorings. A lot of people make the mistake of ordering essential oils from places like Amazon, but the vast majority of those oils are NOT therapeutic grade and therefore cannot be ingested and are not nearly as effective when diffused or applied to the skin. Young Living essential oils are the oils I choose for my own family.
