DIY Hand Painted Christmas Ornaments

These DIY hand painted Christmas ornaments are so easy and fun to make! These are simple enough for kids to paint, and are just as FUN for adults to make.

Supplies needed:

– Inexpensive plastic ornaments  – Acrylic paints in whatever colors you like  – Paper plates – Small artist brushes

Remove the ornament hanger from the top of your plastic ornament and set it aside. Squeeze out some blobs of your acrylic paints on a paper plate.

STEP 1

Choose a color and paint random brush strokes all over the outside of your ornament. Let the paint dry. I placed our ornaments upside down on a paper plate to paint them and to let them dry without smudging any of the paint.

STEP 2

Repeat with as many other colors as you want, allowing each color to dry before you start with another color.
