kaleidoscopeliving.com

Materials needed for this DIY Christmas Art:

- Sheet of 1/2 inch plywood - 1 1/2 inch lattice strips - DAP RapidFuse Ultra Clear - Battery operated dewdrop lights - Masking tape - Paint - DAP PlasticWood X - Sandpaper - Brad nails - Drill - Miter saw or hand saw

1

Cut your plywood down to whatever size you want and then paint it.

Plan out your design by using chalk (that way you can easily erase it if you need to).

2

Use an artist's brush to paint over your design once you are happy with it.

3

Cut your wood lattice strips to length to frame out your art.

4

5

Nail the lattice strips along the edge of your art, making sure they are flush with the front of your plywood.

6

Fill joints and nail holes with wood filler. Sand once dry.

Unbox your battery-operated dewdrop lights.

7

Drill a hole through which you can thread your dewdrop light strand.

8

Thread your dewdrop lights through the hole. Glue the battery pack on the back of the plywood.

9

Lay your art flat. Glue your dewdrop lights long your design using DAP RapidFuse Ultra Clear. Tape it in place with masking tape while it dries.

10

Repeat with as many strands as needed, drilling additional holes if necessary.

11

Use the built-in timer function to have your lights automatically turn on at the same time every night.
