Happy Fall, y'all! If you have followed me for a while, you know that I love, love, love FALL! It's my favorite season, so I just cannot resist tackling some DIY home decor projects for fall and decorating a bit. I actually finished my fall decorating about a week ago, but I just finally had a chance to take photos this past weekend. So, without further adieu, let's take a tour, shall we? I have included some affiliate links for your convenience {since I know you will want to know where I found some of my decor items–the complete source list can be found at the end of this post}. Last year, I focused on decorating our front door for fall. This year, I turned my attention to the back entry of our house, since it is the door we used most often. I added a beautiful wreath and door mat from Target. I also planted some fake mums {#donotjudgeme} in my awesome concrete planter that I also scored at Target this past Spring. Super simple, but the additions create a colorful look full of fabulous textures.
As soon as you enter from the back door, you are in our kitchen. We spend a lot of time in our kitchen, so some fall touches were definitely needed in the kitchen. We started by creating the easiest fall chalkboard wall without using chalk or chalkboard pens. I also added an acorn garland and copper wire stag from Target. Yes, I do love Target :)
On the wall opposite the chalkboard wall is our eat-in-kitchen area, where we have all of our meals. I kept things simple by adding a wreath to our DIY herringbone plank wall {that we made for free} and by adding a simple centerpiece to the table.
If you take a right you are out of our kitchen and cross the hallway to get to our family room. This room is full of DIY home decor projects, like our DIY concrete fireplace that cost less than $100. I found this plaid stag from Target {what can I say? Target has some awesome fall decor!} and it looks awesome on our fireplace, don't you think?
I added some Funkins that we “carved” with a drill to the inside of our fireplace, along with some real wax flameless candles that are remote control operated. Y'all, these things are awesome! Talk about setting the mood for a relaxing evening. I so wish I had found them sooner. The candles will be staying in our fireplace year round, for sure!
I mixed up our throw pillows for fall, adding a beaded velvet “Gather” pillow and some old paisley pillows that I had on hand.
Finally, I changed out the art work in the room by creating my own fall printables. I have found it's super fun and inexpensive to change out the prints in these frames seasonally. I had them printed at Office Depot for a total of $33 and mine are huge.

Down the hallway from the family room is our dining room. I added some metallic candles and a little DIY centerpiece to the table. I also added my DIY placemat pillows to our recently refinished banker's chairs. You can learn how to make a pillow from a placemat here, in case you missed it yesterday!
Finally, before you head upstairs, you enter our foyer. Again, I added some simple metallic candles, a vase filled with decorative filler and these awesome printables from Yellow Bliss Road that you can download for yourself here. I also pulled some old glass pumpkins out of the attic and added some battery operated tea lights that have timers–so awesome–so that they light up every single night without me having to remember.
That's it, friends! I hope you have enjoyed my fall home tour :) As promised, below you can find a source list of some of the items that I used to decorate for fall!
