Inspiring Kitchen Cabinet Organization
Last Updated on August 10, 2021
Hello friends! My question for domestic organization is still in full force. Right now, I am focusing on kitchen cabinet organization, which can be an overwhelming task. So, to inspire those participating in my challenge and all of my readers to declutter your kitchen cabinets, I have scoured blog land to find the most inspiring kitchen cabinet organization ideas, and I think you will love what I have found!
Inspiring Kitchen Cabinet Organization Ideas
The ladies at A Beautiful Mess never disappoint, and Elsie shows us that even if you dishes are stored behind doors, you can keep them tidy and pretty. And I adore how she painted the inside of her cabinets for a pop of color. I also love how she uses metal baskets on top of her cabinets for even more stylish storage. For items that you need to hold on to, but don't use very often, consider storing them in bins on top of your cabinets. Genius!
Jen at I Heart Organizing does a great job of grouping like items with like items, storing all of her kids' dishes and silverware in one cabinet. We do the same thing in our house!
Benita at Chez Larsson has done a stellar job of organizing her spices and other baking items by using simple clear containers and labels to keep them organized. I also love how she uses a lazy Susan to make her spices easily accessible.
Better Homes and Gardens always has fantastic storage and organization ideas, including that you should hang mugs from hooks and use metal risers to separate plates from bowls. Pretty, functional and simple.
I love how Tidbits from the Treymaynes put the inside of their kitchen cabinets to work by painting the inside with chalkboard paint {you could also use chalkboard contact paper–it's less messy} and writing measurement equivalents on it. Plus, they freed up some drawer storage by hanging their measuring cups and spoons from hooks on the door. Talk about a smart use of vertical space.
One of my favorite blogs, Remodelando La Casa, came up with this brilliant DIY solution to maximize the function in the cabinet above her refrigerator. She uses the space to store cookie sheets, cake pans and trays. So smart!
Y'all, Jen at The Social Home did a FANTASTIC job of organizing her kitchen cabinets on a budget after heading to the dollar store and adding some simple labels. I love how she used plastic bins on the two top shelves so you can just pull the entire bin out to grab what you need. It's much easier than fishing around for items that have shifted to the back of your cabinet.

Perfect time of year to purge and organize. I love the measuring cabinet. Just came across decals you can place on chalkboard. Even less messy. Great post.
I loved this round-up post. It is great to see all these ideas collected in one place. I have chosen this story as my feature from last week’s #OMHGWW Linkup!
