Christmas Art for 2022- Top Designer Picks
Last Updated on November 28, 2022
One of my biggest tips for leveling up your Christmas decorating is to display Christmas artwork in your home. Yes, you read that correctly. You should swap out some of your artwork with holiday or seasonal artwork to really take your decor up a notch.
You can find all of my top Christmas art choices at the bottom of this post. I've included art prints AND digital prints if you prefer to save some money by printing the art yourselves. But I also want to explain why I care enough about Christmas art to write an entire post about it.
Why You Should Display Holiday/Christmas Art
Swapping out some of your artwork for the holiday season is one of the easiest ways to make a HUGE impact in a space. Think about the difference between placing a 10″ bottle brush tree on a shelf vs. hanging a 24 x 36-inch art print like you see below? The visual impact of art is tremendous!

Now that I've shared this tip with you, you'll notice that photos of Christmas homes you love almost always have plenty of seasonal art displayed for the holidays.
It doesn't have to be expensive or hard! It can be as simple as purchasing inexpensive digital prints, printing them at home and popping them into frames you already have on shelves, etc.
This year, I made this HUGE 48 x 60-inch art piece for our entryway by taping these 12 Days of Christmas prints onto a canvas that I painted and embellished with gold leaf. The project cost me less than $100 and makes a giant impact, which can be tough because of the 10-foot ceilings in our home.
But if you REALLY want to level up, you should incorporate some LARGE holiday art in your home! It makes far more of an impact than Christmas decor that sits on a shelf or a few Christmas throw pillows. In fact, I would say that you get by far the biggest bang for your buck by displaying large Christmas art!
You can see the HUGE pieces of art we display in our family room for the Christmas season. I swapped out the art that usually sits on this DIY art ledge in our family room for this DIY light-up rejoice artwork I made, this huge shower curtain that I stretched around a wood frame and this beautiful Virgin Mary and baby Jesus art print. I topped it off with a fresh pine garland and it made a HUGE impact in our great room.
If you are skeptical about adding holiday art to your home, let me show you some more examples.
Last year I hung this series of nutcracker art prints in our entryway.
I have had this beautiful canvas piece for years and hung it in our sitting area above our DIY coffee bar last year. Not sure where I will put it this year, but I love it so much!
I even added some holiday art to our bedroom (you can see that photo at the top of this post) and Avery's bedroom last year.
I even swap out the digital art we display on our TVs for Christmas. It's so inexpensive ($3 to $6 per digital piece). And remember… You don't need to have a Samsung picture frame TV to display art on your TVs. You can display digital art on any smart TV!
Now that I've shared some examples and hope you agree that Christmas art can make a huge impact in your Christmas decorating, you can find my favorite Christmas and holiday art picks below. I've organized them by traditional prints, digital options and Christmas TV Art.
