Follow along as we refresh our little girl's room in this New Year, New Room Refresh Challenge! Check out our week 3 progress!
If you follow me over on Instagram, you know that we've been working on making some changes to both of our girls' rooms. Progress felt slow for a while since we had to wait on new carpet, but now things have picked back up again 🙌🏻 To keep myself motivated and on schedule to finish their rooms early in the new year, I teamed up with some other awesome bloggers and sponsors for the New Year, New Room Refresh Challenge hosted by my sweet friend Stephanie from Casa Watkins Living. Over the course of the 4 weeks, we will each refresh a room in our homes. So fun!

I've been working on Attley's room for this challenge. We really did LOVE her room the way it was. Here's a reminder of what it has looked like for quite a while now. And just to remind you, here's the mood board for Attley's new more grown-up room :)
The changes in her room largely revolve around the fact that we are swapping out her twin size bed for a full-size bed. So far, we've gotten LOTS done (even though it feels like we have so far to go). We have:
- We have painted the ceiling, walls (Falling Snow by Behr) and trim
- We have painted the doors in her room
- We've hung a new light fixture
- We had NEW carpet installed
- We installed the fox wall mural
- We got the new Mohawk Larrabee Area Rug and rug pad in place
- We got her new closet system installed, including this back of the door storage
- I painted her used Jenny Lind bed (that I found on the Facebook Marketplace) and got it set up in her room yesterday
- I hung her new roman shade and curtains for what will be her little reading nook
And that's it so far! At this point, I'm waiting for some artwork and furniture (the bench for her reading nook and a new desk chair) to arrive before I can finish everything up. But I am 100% in love with her room so far! Here's a peek of Attley's Jenny Lind bed and new curtains for you. Here's a peek of the closet system and back of the door storage we got installed for her.
That's it for this week's update. As I mentioned, I've teamed up with a bunch of people for this challenge! Want to see what my talented friends have planned for their room refreshes?! Go visit them by clicking any of the links below.
