Join in the Be Bold Challenge and link up on February 24, 2014!

The Be Bold Challenge is the brain child of Carrie from the fabulous blog, Lovely Etc.  Here is what Carrie wrote about her motivation to begin the challenge: “I was sick and tired of not trying new projects just because I was scared of failure.  This year, my goal is to learn to fail.  To learn that it is really okay to try for something awesome and end up with something awful.  It is easy to make sure you never, ever fail at anything.  But when you do that, you miss out on pretty much everything great.  I’m done with mediocre.  I’m ready for lots of awesome.I decided it was time to change things and invited some other bloggers to be bold with me.”   WOW!  Well said, Carrie.  I totally agree.

The following AMAZING blogs are participating in the Be Bold Challenge.  I am beyond honored to be included among them!  We are each working on bold projects in our own homes, but we also want to invite all of our fabulous readers to join in.  We will be hosting a huge link party where you can share your bold projects on February 24th.  Projects linked up will be linked on all eleven blogs.  Read on for exact details of the challenge.

I think everyone can benefit from being a bit more daring  and taking a design risk every once in a while!  If you agree, please join us for the Be Bold Challenge.

Here is your challenge…

Complete a DIY project that is a bit of a risk.  The risk can be anything, perhaps using a new power tool, trying a color you usually avoid, doing something you’ve never seen anyone else do, or just trying something you’re not entirely sure will work.   That’s it.  Go for it!  I cannot wait to see what you come up with!
