When we recently gave our master bedroom sitting area a makeover, I looked long and hard for the perfect table to go between our two new recliners. During the search, I kept coming back to a table with caning. I just knew it was going to be perfect! Sadly I got it and eagerly set it up only to discover the height and shape were all wrong. I don't think I have EVER been more crushed by something I loved not working in my design. I sent the table back, but I was left with a burning desire for a piece of cane furniture.
Finding (and losing) that piece ignited a serious obsession with cane furniture and I really went down the rabbit hole. I started looking at all the amazing pieces out there and I am hooked! You will see here that it can be used in a variety of ways and decor styles. And I swear anyone with any decor style can find a piece that works in your home. It is a really versatile treatment that brings texture and warmth, not to mention it is EVERYWHERE and having a real moment!

SO many amazing pieces. I seriously love them all. I think it is amazing how different it can feel depending on where and how the caning is used. There are not many treatments that can look elegant and refined on a chair, boho and modern on a table, and farmhouse on a metal bench. But that is the beauty of cane furniture!
